February is Black History Month.
It’s not just another hashtag, or calendar event. It’s time to read about Black History, Black Heritage. Its a time to ask questions, tell the stories, teach the children, and reflect on how far we’ve come and how far we still need to go as black people all over the world. When we tell our own stories, we reclaim a kind of paradise.
Our history, our stories deserve more than one month, but this month is a good place to focus.
